What is Chinese Herbology?
Chinese herbal medicine is a primary component of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chinese herbs include plants, minerals, and animal products. If you are vegetarian, be sure to ask your practitioner if your herbal formula contains animal products.

There are over 7,000 herbs identified in China and about 400 of these are commonly used in the U.S. today. Chinese herbal remedies can be taken as pills, tablets, powders, or teas. Some are used for external application only.
